Iloilo Lodge is a branch of the Theosophical Society in the Philippines. TSP National Headquarters is at 1 Iba St., cor. P. Florentino St. Quezon City, 1114 Metro Manila. Tel.: (Res.) 361-58-36, 741-57-40.
May 8, 2003 was the day that we sent a letter of request to the International President of the Theosophical Society Adyar, Chennai, India to form a Lodge of Theosophical Society in the Philippines to be known as ILOILO LODGE and to become a Charter accordingly. This then was the day that the ILOILO LODGE was born. On September 17, 2003 the Iloilo Lodge obtained its Charter from Theosophical Society Adyar, Chennai, India.

Theosophical Society in the Philippines
Article 1: NAME
Section 1. The name of this Lodge shall be the Iloilo Lodge which shall be an official lodge of the Theosophical Society of the Philippines.
Article II: OBJECTIVES
Section 1. The objectives of the Lodge shall be :
First: To form a nucleus of the Universal Brotherhood of Humanity without distinction of race, creed, sex, caste or color.
Second: To encourage the study of comparative Religion, Philosophy and Science
Third: To investigate the unexplained Laws of Nature and the Powers latent in man.
Article III: MEMBERSHIP
Section 1. Every person without distinction of race, creed, sex, caste or color shall be eligible for membership in the lodge, provided they are the age of majority.
Section 2. Acceptance of the Lodge´s first above declared objectives is the sole conditions of membership.
Section 3. Members will be in good standing with power to vote when they are up to date in the payment of their dues, and delinquent with no power to vote when they are in arrear in the payment of their dues.
Article IV: LODGE COUNCIL
Section 1. There shall be Lodge Council which shall be the governing body of the lodge.
Section 2. The Lodge Council shall be composed of seven (7) members: The President, Vice President Secretary, Treasurer and the three (3) Board of Trustees.
Section 3. ELECTION
a) All the officers of the Lodge shall be elected for a term of three (3) years, except the Editor of the official Publication of the Lodge who shall be appointed by the President with the consent of the majority of the elected officers.
b) The election procedure shall be determined by an Election Committee composed of three (3) members to be appointed by the Lodge Council. The Secretary shall be the Official Chairman of the Committee.
Section 4. MEETINGS
a) The Lodge Council shall meet one´s a month, the date, time, and place of meeting shall be agreed upon by the members of the council.
b) The President of any three (3) members of the council may call a special meeting as the need arises.
Article V. OFFICERS: Their Powers and Duties:
Section 1. The President:
a) Shall preside at the meetings of the Lodge and the Lodge Council
b) Shall call special meetings of the Lodge Council upon request of three (3) council members
c) Shall fill provisionally all vacancies in the Lodge Council Until said Council shall have permanently filled up the same; appoint and withdraw appointments to all special positions and offices which he may create or abolish as he may find necessary for the purpose of pursuing the objectives of the Lodge or conducting the business administration thereof.
d) Shall approved or disapproved all vouchers, disbursements, receipts, expenditures and activities of the Lodge and supervise the other officers thereof, sign all papers, documents, and other writings for and in the name of the Lodge.
e) In the absence of the President during National, Vis-Min Conventions or meetings, the Vice President shall take over all duties and responsibilities of the Lodge or the President.
Section 2. The Secretary:
a) Shall be the custodian of all archives and records of the Lodge and as the Lodge executive officer carry out the objectives of the Lodge and the decisions of the Lodge Council.
b) Shall prepare and keep records of all the transactions of the Lodge.
c) Shall conduct the general correspondence of the Lodge upon the instruction of the President.
d) Shall perform such other duties as the President may direct.
Section 3. The Treasurer:
a) Shall keep all funds of the Lodge.
b) Shall be property custodian of the Lodge.
c) Shall keep records of all funds of the Lodge.
d) Shall receive all dues and other moneys payable to the Lodge and National Section and issue receipts thereof.
e) Shall disburse the funds of the Lodge subject to the approval of members present at the meeting and or provisions of Section 1 paragrph “d” Article V of these By Laws.
f) Shall render to the members a monthly report of the financial status of the Lodge.
Section 4. The Board of Trustees:
a) Shall assist the officers in the governance, conduct of business, recruitment of members, and special activities of the Lodge at the request of the President, and may represent the Lodge in the Board Meetings of the TS HQ.
Section 5. Duties and Responsibilities of ALL Members
a.) Adherence of the three (3) objectives of the Theosophical Society.
b.)Attendance in activities of the Lodge.
c.) Responsible for annual membership fees and other payables therein required by the National Headquarters and the Lodge itself.
Article VI: LODGE MEETINGS
Section 1. The Lodge shall meet every First Sunday and Third Sundays of the month.
Article VII: AMENDMENT
Section 1. These By laws may be amended by a majority vote of members present in a meeting called for a purpose, provided that those present constitute a majority of all the members of good standing at the time thereof.
Section 2. Amendments shall take effect upon approval.
